أوغندا تستضيف منتدى الأعمال الأوغندي الإماراتي الرابع

Uganda hosted the 4th UAE–Uganda Business Forum from 27 to 29 October 2025, meeting in Kampala for the second time on a rotation basis intended to help business communities from both countries identify opportunities more easily.

The forum was spearheaded by the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Abu Dhabi and the Uganda Consulate in Dubai, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Chambers of Commerce.

According to the Embassy, Uganda's foreign direct investment has grown from USD 300 million in 2018 to USD 3.5 billion, while annual remittances from the roughly 160,000 Ugandans living in the UAE have risen from USD 50 million to USD 350 million over the same period. The two countries have signed six memoranda of understanding covering investment, transport, health, energy, diplomatic relations and capacity building.
